These pictures of Psychotic Gardening were taken at Ozzy's on the last night Ozzy's featured bands playing, on Saturday, December 12, 2015.

Band members at the time included:

Dreadnaut was the last band to play at The Zoo upstairs at the Osborne Village Inn on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, 2015. But the last band to play at the Inn before its' closing was Psychotic Gardening, who played at the still-kept-going-for-a-while Ozzy's Lounge downstairs on Saturday, December 12, 2015. The ads for this gig read, "The end is here.....the final night at Ozzy's." Actually, it turned out to be only the final night for bands. After that night, there would be one last Ozzy's gig: A gothic industrial DJ New Year's Eve show. Check out flyers for both the Psychotic Gardening show and the NYE DJs on our "Zoo Closing" page.

Psychotic Gardening, as the band's website tells us, is the emergence of the sickened sounds of the earth.

This genre defying Winnipeg metal band takes elements of doom, death and black metal and infuses them in their sound. Distinct and morose, beautifully calamitous, Psychotic Gardening is masterful in its attention to dynamic detail.

Psychotic Gardening recently released their full-length Humanitorium album independently to positive reviews including 4.5 out of 5 stars in Winnipeg's late, great, Uptown Magazine. This new release features the songs "Black Fever" and a cover version of Possessed's "Phantasm." Click here to check out videos for both songs on the band's You Tube page.

Psychotic Gardening is fortunate to have these words said by Jeff Becerra of Possessed himself: "I loved your rendition of 'Phantasm'!! It trips me out to hear the slow-grinding spin that you put on it, I am not ashamed to say that I am truly flattered. Thanks, guys, you fucking rule!!"
